
Job Summary:
ITS, LLC is seeking a
Cybersecurity Specialist II
to join our team. The Cybersecurity Specialist II will support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and provide cybersecurity services in support of classified systems and enterprise environments. This role ensures compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, Federal regulations, and applicable security standards while safeguarding systems operating at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support implementation and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for assigned systems. Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of cybersecurity documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and security control assessments. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis to ensure compliance with DoD and Federal cybersecurity requirements. Provide cybersecurity services in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and applicable Government directives, regulations, and policies. Support ISSO-related functions, including monitoring system compliance and ensuring proper implementation of security controls. Identify security risks and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain system authorization. Coordinate with government stakeholders and technical teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are met. Ensure all required education, certifications, and work experience are maintained prior to and throughout performance under this PWS. Required Qualifications:
Minimum Associate of Science degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity. Intermediate Level Cybersecurity Work Role experience. Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting RMF requirements and providing cybersecurity services. Must possess and maintain required Information Technology or Cybersecurity education, training, and certifications in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and current Government directives, regulations, and policies (reference DFARS 252.239-7001). All required education, certifications, and work experience must be obtained prior to performing work under this PWS. Employees deficient in required qualifications shall not be permitted to perform under this PWS. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting DoD classified environments. Experience working in TS/SCI operational settings. Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity monitoring tools and vulnerability management platforms. Education/Experience:
Associate of Science degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity required. Minimum of four (4) years of RMF and cybersecurity support experience for ISSO-designated roles. Required certifications must be compliant with DoDM 8140.03 for the assigned work role.
Clearance Requirement:
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility required.
Salary Note:
