American Welding & Gas Delivery Driver / Inside Sales Person
American Welding & Gas is seeking a dynamic Delivery Driver / Inside Sales Person at our Gillette, WY branch. This role includes driving to deliver gases and welding/industrial supplies. Candidates should have 13 years of prior industrial sales experience preferred, with strong knowledge of welding and gas products highly desired. Driver Duties:
Provide cylinder and bulk deliveries, loading/unloading trucks. Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness. Ensure compliance with safety regulations (Hazmat, OSHA, DOT). Ensure appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle. Perform other duties as assigned. Inside Sales Duties:
Prepare quotes for customers. Assist Territory Managers to actively review and manage existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize working capital investment and financial risk. Intake calls from customers for new orders or assist in resolving emergency orders. Call on "house" accounts with annual sales below $10,000 to increase sales volume and frequency. Grow the sales with those customers through telemarketing of other products. Maintain and demonstrate a positive attitude with all associates, customers, vendors, and other business partners. Other duties as assigned. Driver Qualifications:
CDL Class B with Hazmat & Airbrake endorsements. Clean driving record (3+ years). Ability to lift 75-100 pounds. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Inside Sales Qualifications:
1-3 years of previous sales experience. Knowledge of welding and gas products strongly preferred. Strong time and management skills. Critical thinking skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Incentives:
