Golf Camp Counselor
The Golf Camp Counselor assists in conducting daily camp activities, including golf instruction, etiquette, rules, playing and on course golf experience. This position involves direct interactions with children ages 8-17. Responsibilities include: Supervising youth campers ensuring a safe and positive summer camp experience. Providing proper instruction to campers in golf fundamentals including putting, chipping, and full swing. Teaching proper golf rules and course etiquette. Assisting or conducting daily camp activities, i.e., putting contests, golf baseball, kick ball, moving lunches and snacks/beverages. Preparing and ensuring that necessary equipment is ready and in the correct location, i.e., golf clubs and golf balls. Keeping direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns. Carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responding to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel. Performing related duties as assigned or apparent.
