Summary: Join the dynamic Meta Security team as a Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our systems and personnel against evolving cyber threats. We are looking for a dedicated investigator who leverages an intelligence-driven strategy to proactively combat a diverse range of security challenges. In this position, you will monitor adversarial groups targeting Meta, pinpoint vulnerabilities in our defenses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bolster Meta's overall security framework. Key Responsibilities: Continuously monitor and analyze threat clusters that could potentially impact Meta, devising effective countermeasures for our network.

Investigate emerging cybersecurity trends and translate findings into actionable insights for various stakeholders.

Work closely with incident response teams to deliver timely intelligence that informs ongoing investigations.

Improve tools used for tracking threats while integrating intelligence data into existing systems for enhanced security.

Participate in cross-functional initiatives to strengthen Meta's overall security posture, including red team operations and vulnerability management efforts.

Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a security-related discipline.

Strong grasp of campaign tracking and developing long-term security measures based on insights.

Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks such as the Diamond Model or MITRE ATT&CK.

Experience conducting intelligence-driven investigations to identify network anomalies.

Proven track record of successfully managing both short-term and long-term projects.

Excellent collaboration skills, particularly in cross-location and cross-timezone settings.

Demonstrated critical thinking and communication abilities.

Proficiency in coding or scripting with languages like Python or PHP.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working collaboratively with incident response teams.

Knowledge of malware analysis or network traffic examination.

Understanding of nation-state threats, complex criminal activities, or supply chain vulnerabilities.

Capability to create detection rules and signatures for intricate threats, utilizing tools like YARA or Snort.

Familiarity with SQL and other query languages.

Experience writing production-level code for threat intelligence applications.

Extensive data analysis experience.

Active engagement in the broader security community.

Compensation: $154,000/year to $217,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
