Head of Branded Content & Events, Creator Ad Partnerships
As Head of Branded Content & Events, you will own and evolve the strategic vision for branded content and sponsored live events across our creator and livestream portfolio while building and leading a high-performing multi-disciplinary team. This role operates at the intersection of creative excellence, business strategy, and revenue enablement. While not directly revenue-accountable, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success through strategic advisory on creator deals, innovative format development, and scalable execution that enables Sales to win and retain premium advertising partnerships. You’ll balance three key constituencies: Advertising customers, Creators, and internal stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of an organization at Amazon while working with some of the most influential creators in digital media. You’ll have the autonomy to build systems, develop talent, and drive innovation in a space where creativity leads to direct results.
Key job responsibilities Innovation & Revenue Growth
Think big and identify white space opportunities in emerging platforms, content types, and sponsorship models that expand beyond traditional integrations—including experiential activations, digital products, and cross-platform entertainment experiences.
Serve as strategic advisor to executive leadership on creator portfolio strategy and deal evaluation. Influence cross-functional roadmaps and serve as a senior thought partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Production, and Partner Management.
Build business cases for new revenue streams and partnership models that expand the creator monetization playbook beyond current offerings.
Pioneer new branded content formats and measurement frameworks that position Amazon as innovators in the creator economy.
Identify new internal opportunities to expand branded content offerings and drive innovation as well as external expansion opportunities on social and streaming platforms such as YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.
Own and evolve the branded content and events strategy aligned with revenue goals and business priorities – this includes developing a strategic roadmap and delivering against goals for your organization’s programs.
Operational Excellence
Design and implement the operating model for the branded content team, including workflows, resourcing models, timelines, and quality standards.
Build scalable processes for the full branded content lifecycle: intake, RFP development, creator selection, approvals, production, delivery, and reporting.
Establish frameworks for creative innovation that can scale across our business product and Creator offerings.
Define metrics for creative success, effectiveness, and team performance.
Own delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality commitments.
Manage production partner relationships and creative resources including budgets, vendors, and agencies.
Execution & Client Engagement
Develop deep expertise on Creators and audience insights.
Lead high-touch branded content activations from concept through delivery.
Serve as client- and creator-facing creative lead for premium opportunities including live events, creative strategy workshops, and B2B opportunities.
Create compelling creative thought‑starters and media planning recommendations for new Creator opportunities while partnering with Amazon executive leadership.
Define product marketing strategy and narratives in partnership with GTM and Marketing (e.g. social and video).
Team Leadership & Development
Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multi-disciplinary team of branded content strategists, event coordinators and program managers, and producers.
Hire and onboard talent as the team scales to meet business needs.
Set clear goals, expectations, and development plans for team members.
Lead by example through mentorship, coaching, and strategic project assignment.
Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and operational excellence.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
Experience managing P&L.
5+ years of hiring, developing, and leading high-performing teams experience.
7+ years of event marketing or brand, program, or experiential marketing experience.
Experience developing operational processes and technologies.
Experience building and effectively executing a strategy from the ground up, including designing roadmaps to drive incremental progress towards long-term vision and goals.
Experience working with talent.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).
Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives.
Background in working with content creators or talent on 360 activations.
Track record of identifying and launching new revenue streams or business models.
Advanced Excel proficiency for media planning, budget management, and performance analysis.
