Digital Identity Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Senior

Digital identity, encompassing both human and non-human aspects, is crucial for every business. As a Senior Digital Identity SME, you will play a pivotal role in improving user experiences, reducing risks, and enhancing operational efficiency by crafting and implementing effective identity solutions using leading tools like Microsoft Entra and Saviynt.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Assessment
Conduct evaluations of current state assessments and capability maturity. Develop comprehensive IAM strategies and roadmaps that include operating models, governance structures, policies, procedures, and standards.
Solution Design & Implementation
Design and execute identity governance solutions leveraging technologies such as Microsoft Entra and Saviynt. Contribute to the development of RBAC models, workflows, and access certification initiatives. Onboard applications and ensure integrations with directories, HR systems, and cloud platforms. Implement effective identity lifecycle management processes including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews. Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather essential business, compliance, and technical requirements for identity governance. Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholder engagement. Facilitate workshops and conduct thorough assessments to ensure compliance with regulations like SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR. Act as the central escalation point for complex technical challenges during deployment and ongoing operations. Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and knowledge. Provide technical insights for pre-sales and business development during client engagement and RFP processes.
Skills & Attributes for Success Extensive hands-on experience with configuring and implementing Saviynt and Microsoft Entra. Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management and access governance principles. Knowledge of RBAC, ABAC, SoD policies, and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), directory services (AD, LDAP), and protocols (SAML, SCIM, REST APIs, JDBC). Basic scripting skills (Java, BeanShell, PowerShell) and API integration knowledge. Solid understanding of IAM components: authentication, authorization, provisioning, federation, and privileged access. Experience in API integration and connector development. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Proficient troubleshooting and technical issue resolution capabilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proven skills in process definition, workflow design, and process mapping. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of relevant industry experience (or 2-3 years with a graduate degree). Hands-on experience with IAM solutions like Microsoft Entra and Saviynt. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator, Saviynt Certified Professional, CISSP, CISM).
