
Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Director, Cloud Security Architecture to join their team. As a Director, Cloud Security Architecture, you will be part of the Cyber Security and Information Risk department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a thirst for knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Implement the bank's cybersecurity strategy by architecting, engineering, deploying, and operating technical security controls related to cloud infrastructures.
Engineer and operate solutions that protect cloud resources from malicious threats by providing preventative, detective, and hardening controls.
Automate security hardening tasks in the cloud to quickly identify and address gaps with established standards.
Act as a subject matter expert in multiple security domains, including Cloud Security, IAM, and Data Security.
Coordinate and perform security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with internal security procedures.
What's Needed?
7+ years of hands-on experience in security architecture, implementation, and design of scalable cloud security solutions.
Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, particularly with Azure and AWS.
Experience in delivering large and complex programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
