This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team and to contribute to our company's financial growth and stability. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Meeting financial accounting objectives. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions. Overseeing regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, with a focus on managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Experience with corporate governance and business tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
