Job Description:
The Senior Functional Consultant will play a critical role in delivering the end-to-end functional solution for the SAP 2025 Upgrade program. This role ensures that business value, system integrity, and functional alignment are maintained while adhering to enterprise architecture and standard-first principles. Modules to be supported: MDG,SD,FI, P2R and S2P
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Solution Design Shape and deliver scalable, standard-first functional designs across the SAP landscape. Conduct fit-to-standard vs. customization assessments and recommend the best-value approach. Drive consistency in functional design across modules and processes.
Business Engagement
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust solution designs. Constructively challenge business demands to maintain adherence to SAP standard and reduce unnecessary customization. Support functional leads with decision-making and change impact evaluations.
Architectural & End-to-End Thinking
Ensure end-to-end process integrity and cross-module alignment throughout the upgrade lifecycle. Work in partnership with integration, security, and data teams to maintain coherence with architecture principles and guardrails.
Governance & Quality Assurance
Prepare, validate, and review high-quality functional specifications. Enforce design standards, documentation quality, and compliance with upgrade governance frameworks. Support quality gates, testing cycles, and defect resolution as a functional authority
