
We are seeking Senior Database Administrators (DBAs) with strong Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS experience to support a large-scale data center to Azure migration initiative. This role is highly hands‑on and will own the end‑to‑end migration lifecycle for a complex application environment with extensive SSIS job dependencies. The ideal candidate has proven experience planning, executing, and validating SQL Server and SSIS migrations to Azure, with the ability to document current‑state environments, identify required changes, and drive migrations through successful production validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end migration of SQL Server databases and SSIS workloads from on‑prem to Azure
Assess, document, and plan migration approach for ~125 application and data warehouse databases, including SSIS dependencies
Identify risks, dependencies, and required design or configuration changes; execute migration, rollback, and validation plans
Perform hands‑on SSIS development, troubleshooting, testing, and post‑migration performance tuning
Ensure data integrity, job reliability, and system performance throughout the migration lifecycle
Collaborate with DBAs, application, and infrastructure teams; document outcomes and communicate progress, risks, and blockers
