Practice Area Summer clerks who are hired into our 2027 program as 2Ls will join one of our eight practice groups. This opportunity is with Holland & Hart’s Intellectual Property Practice Group in our Denver office.
Program Experience
Substantive research and writing assignments
Participation in a wide variety of legal projects
Legal and practical skills training programs
Dedicated mentorship and work assignment supervision
Pro bono opportunities and community service
Networking events and social activities
Hiring Criteria We seek well-rounded law students in the JD class of 2028 who have passed the USPTO Patent Bar Examination and who demonstrate strong academic performance and intellectual capability; effective interpersonal and communication skills; and motivation, maturity, creativity, and independence. Participation in mock trial, moot court, or law journal (as a 2L) is highly preferred. All technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
