Overview Senior Specialist, Ecommerce Marketplace

The Senior Specialist, Ecommerce Marketplace will play a key role in supporting both growth and operational excellence across the marketplace ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying and acquiring high potential sellers, enabling a smooth onboarding experience, and driving ongoing operational success. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing both external seller relationships and internal cross‑functional workflows to help scale marketplace performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Identify and generate potential marketplace seller leads across acquisition channels

Maintain and prioritize an active pipeline of prospective sellers

Screen potential sellers for business readiness, catalog fit, and operational capability

Develop negotiation strategies to successfully convert qualified leads

Guide sellers through onboarding, catalog setup, and marketplace back‑office tools

Ensure product data and listings meet platform standards for accuracy and completeness

Serve as a first point of contact for seller operational questions and issue resolution

Monitor seller performance, compliance and operational health

Analyze assortment, pricing and operational metrics to recommend improvements

Partner with internal teams to address seller feedback, process gaps, and platform improvements

Collaborate closely with global/remote marketplace operations teams to manage workflows efficiently

Support documentation of best practices and contribute to continuous process improvement

Drive seller growth post launch by optimizing assortment, performance and seasonal opportunities

Core Competencies and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

3-5 years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace operations, business development, retail, or a related field

Experience with marketplace platforms, seller onboarding, catalog management, or ecommerce operations (Mirakl or similar tools a plus)

Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Strong communication skills and ability to build productive relationships with sellers and cross‑functional partners

Comfortable using data to monitor performance, identify issues, and drive improvements

Self‑motivated, proactive, and passionate about ecommerce and marketplace growth

Pay Range USD $57,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
