We have an outstanding opportunity for a commercially focused digital practitioner at our North American headquarters as an E-Commerce Business Lead.

The E-Commerce Business Lead will be an integral part of the Formica Marketing Team reporting to the North American Director of Marketing Technology. From digital merchandising to conversion optimization, this role owns the e-commerce experience and has a relentless focus on revenue growth. Working in partnership with our Digital, Product, Creative, and Sales Operations teams, the E-Commerce Business Lead develops and drives initiatives to improve discoverability, increase key customer conversion, manage the online product portfolio and optimize how products are presented on Formica.com. Using performance data, target segment research and customer behavior signals, this role is responsible for the long-term growth of our e-commerce channel.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter used to working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. S/he will be intellectually curious and have strong experience managing owned e-commerce platforms, online retail site brand presence and a successful track record delivering digital property revenue goals.

Job Description:

This position reports to the North American Director of Marketing Technology. Key responsibilities include:

Own e-commerce sales and achievement of annual revenue. Analyze site metrics and customer behavior to identify high-impact product, merchandising and campaign opportunities and develop and implement data-informed strategies to grow our e-commerce business.

Manage the e-commerce product mix including core product lines and complementary product assortments in partnership with the Product Marketing and Supply Chain. Recommend online portfolio adjustments to strengthen conversion and drive incremental sales.

Own the customer experience strategy and execution for our e-commerce platform, overseeing both day-to-day maintenance and longer-term shopping experience innovation. Develop and execute roadmap initiatives that improve product discovery, filtering, category clarity, and conversion in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Team.

Working with the Digital and Product Teams, drive digital campaigns and promotions to grow awareness and Track and share insights and recommendations on a weekly basis.

Support customer data initiatives in partnership with the Digital and Sales Operations.

Manage the Formica portfolio presence on retailer e-commerce sites including com, lowes.com and amazon.com.

Miscellaneous projects, as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience:

BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, IT or relevant.

Minimum of five years of experience in digital merchandising, E-Commerce product management, or related field with direct responsibility for delivering digital Experience in design- and construction-related business a plus.

Experience managing and working in E-Commerce platforms like BigCommerce, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or CommerceTools required. BigCommerce and Salsify experience preferred.

Significant project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as both a leader and a contributor to a range marketing and cross-functional project teams.

Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize projects, work across the business, deliver projects within budget, and meet tight deadlines.

Occasional travel to S. domestic locations and Canada and Mexico.
