Position Overview The Front Desk/Receptionist will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location. Hours: Friday 12pm–6pm; Saturday 9am–4pm; Sunday 1pm–5pm; Monday 2pm–8pm.

Responsibilities

Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym

Personally check each member into the gym using the proper check‑in procedures

Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures

Provide new guests with a tour of the gym and help answer questions about current membership options

Assist guests with purchasing a new membership

Answer phone in a professional and courteous manner and use proper phone greeting techniques

Process retail and concession sales

Clean and maintain the front desk area

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members

Ability to multi‑task

Sales experience preferred
