The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP)
The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Education to support the academic mission of the institution. Working under the supervision of the Director of Education, this role assists with the administration, coordination, and development of instructional programs, policies, personnel, and facilities.
The ADOE plays a key role in fostering an environment of academic excellence, professional growth, and collaboration for both students and faculty.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the administration and oversight of instructional programs and academic operations
Support the development and implementation of instructional policies and procedures
Help create and sustain a culture of academic and professional excellence
Collaborate with educational team members to ensure consistency and quality in instruction
Analyze academic, fiscal, and student data to identify trends and support decision‑making
Provide solutions to operational and academic challenges and support implementation of strategies
Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and leadership
Support compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt leadership and communication styles across diverse teams
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficiency with computer software including databases, word processing, and email
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, metrics, and trends
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work across academic, business, and regulatory teams
Customer‑focused approach when working with students and staff
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in academics
Academic management, advising, and teaching experience required
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry practices preferred
Experience with student management information systems preferred
