Hours : Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Salary Range : $52,000 - $60,000/annually

The Recruitment and Engagement Specialist primarily responsible for coordinating the recruiting efforts and training schedule for the program. This individual will also be responsible for serving as the liaison between the program and partner agencies for referrals and actively participate in local coalition meetings, events, and other efforts.

This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively coordinate the recruiting efforts and training schedule for the program;

Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with the training team;

Assists with recruitment planning, outreach events and documentation/tracking;

Participate in team meetings and/or individual supervision to review recruitment progressions and ongoing recruitment plan efforts;

Coordinate information meetings at churches/ faith-based/ community organizations to build a network of awareness of the needs of the community and resources and support that the church and community can provide;

Direct efforts to strengthen Bethany’s relationship with community partners by maintaining professional relationships with them and providing regular updates on the need of the community;

Provide monthly reports on partner activities;

Initiate community projects including by not limited to identifying community events that the agency can participate in and promoting program information to community partners;

Participate in community activities that will help enhance agency’s visibility and raise awareness within the community about the needs of the community;

Assist with the monitoring and distribution of client feedback surveys for programs in applicable branches;

Serve as liaison between programs and local universities that seek to partner with BCS in bachelors and master’s level internships;

Assist with the input and monitoring of the staff tracker sheet for the applicable branch;

Support training efforts for applicable branches, to include but not limited to administering the certification process and schedule trainers for all training requirements; coordinating training scheduling and participation, scheduling training sites;

May coordinate and lead the quarterly training team meeting to discuss self-assessment, challenges, and improvements in applicable branches;

Serve as a liaison between the program and partner agencies for referrals and actively participate in local coalition meetings, events, and other efforts, as applicable;

Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s level degree in Human Services, Social Work, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college;

At least one (1) year of engagement or recruiting experience, preferred;

Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills;

Ability to write academically, track appropriate documentation and outcome of recruiting efforts;

Strong time management, and organizational skills;

Demonstrated knowledge of state, community, and agency resources;

Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;

Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;

Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage;

Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;

Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity.
