Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive quotes for residential and light commercial HVAC installations, repairs, restoration, and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems, including labor, materials, and equipment
Evaluate blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate quotes
Communicate directly with homeowners, contractors, and project managers to gather scope and clarify needs
Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables
Order necessary parts and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner
Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation
Assist in project scheduling and workflow optimization
Provide support during project execution to ensure adherence to budget and scope
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC estimating or related field
Strong understanding of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
Familiarity with restoration and remodeling project workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Clean background check
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
