About The Role The Total Rewards Specialist is responsible for administering employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This hybrid role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech‑savvy, and capable of managing complex data sets to support strategic HR initiatives. This is a hybrid position based out of Palm Beach Gardens.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing accurate and timely information.
Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in HR systems.
Analyze benefits data to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and support decision‑making.
Develop and maintain detailed reports using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts) and other tools.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
Process vendor invoices and reconcile billing discrepancies.
Assist with annual open enrollment, including communication materials and employee education sessions.
Collaborate with HR team and vendors to resolve benefits‑related issues.
Support audits and maintain accurate documentation of benefits records.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years in benefits administration or HR with strong data analysis responsibilities.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Key Nice‑To‑Haves
PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SCP certification.
Experience supporting distributed or remote teams.
