
Ascent Resources is seeking an experienced Owner Relations Technician. This position is located in Oklahoma City and will report to the Manager– Division Orders.
This position will provide information and assistance to royalty and working interest partners in response to verbal and written inquiries regarding leases, interests, billing and payments.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Return all owner telephone calls to the Owner Relations line within 48 hours of the message. Will handle phone calls up to 70-75% of the workday
Documenting calls from royalty and working interest owners
Facilitate discussion with owners in order to determine the issue and provide a solution if able to do so with information on hand or direct more complex issues/questions to the appropriate department
Provide assistance to owners with changes and/or updates to their accounts - address changes, mailing out deceased letters, change of address letters and transfer requirements for various areas in order to process any changes to the distribution of royalty payments
Provide administrative support, file research and data input assistance for Land Administration (i.e. Division Order & Lease Records)
Assist in handling receipt of incoming mail and disbursing to appropriate groups within Land Administration
Assist in routine owner account set ups within Quorum
Assist in maintaining accurate name and address data for lessors and partners
Respond to inquiries from mineral owners, title attorneys and other third parties regarding property interests
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Able to complete work accurately on a timely basis
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
Previous experience in an Owner Relations role
Education & Work Experience Required Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of industry experience
