We have been in business since 1987 and is a family owned Fire Sprinkler Company that is very well known in the industry. We strive to maintain good relationships with our General Contractors, Apartment Managers, and various customers in assisting them with their Fire Sprinkler System's needs. We do fire sprinkler design, coordination, installation, inspections, services and repairs. We have developed a very loyal relationship with our customers and suppliers and want to continue making sure that they are well taken care of. We take pride in servicing the industry.
Fire Sprinkler Designer And Project Manager This person will design, coordinate and project manage Fire Sprinkler systems throughout the duration of a project. Projects may encompass three-story garden level apartment buildings, mid‑rise large‑footprint apartment buildings, high‑rise apartment buildings or other venues of projects. This person should be able to work and coordinate well with others throughout the design process in which includes architects, BIM coordinators, general contractors, field installers and other MEP trades. Once the project is designed and approved by local AHJ, this person will have the responsibility for the initial planning of the project including scheduling, stock listing material, analyzing changes, and solving problems through out the duration of the project as well as keeping up with as‑built drawings, purchase orders, and final closeout documents.
Job Responsibilities
Review construction documents and gather necessary information required to design a fire sprinkler system
Design automatic sprinkler systems including both wet/dry systems, fire pumps, and standpipe systems
Perform hydraulic calculations for each design
Use of analytical thinking and problem solving throughout design to ensure an easy field installation with cost implication in mind
Develop detail drawings through use of AutoSPRINK fire sprinkler design software
Ability to be creative and flexible within design
Good and professional communication between general contractor, other MEP project managers, company installers, and material vendors
Visit job sites occasionally for field questions and or work completion/verification status
Carry out professionalism to those around and build relationships with local fire authorities
Knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20
Ability to problem solve and research answers in a fluid environment
Qualification Requirements
Five-years minimum experience in fire sprinkler design with use of AutoSPRINK software
Basic use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Prior project management experienceMust be willing and able to share past design projects as design references
