Full Time Operatives Morristown, TN, US 8 days ago Requisition ID: 1374 Job Title: Framer Location: Morristown , T N Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor Primary duties will include: Retrieve wood from work area and work with schedule to complete tasks. Use frame parts to complete furniture frame. Operate staple gun which weighs from five to ten pounds to staple frame parts together. Also use glue gun which weighs up to five pounds to glue frame parts together. Communicate with frame department supervisor or lead person on quality issues or bad frame parts. Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Keen attention to detail Able to use common hand tools and power tools Good math and reasoning ability is essential PPE and carpentry trade tools Troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred education: High School diploma is preferred, GED required . We will consider additional experience in lieu of diploma. The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are: Ability to u se hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to s tand p rolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance . Ability to h ear sounds and differentiate between them. Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision .
