Personal Lines Account Manager

to join a team at an independent insurance agency. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a designated book of business, focusing on personal lines insurance such as home, auto, umbrella, renters, and specialty policies. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional client service skills, and maintain strong relationships with multiple insurance carriers. Responsibilities

Manage a personal lines book of business, including home, auto, umbrella, renters, and specialty policies

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering responsive and consultative service

Conduct renewal reviews and proactively remarket accounts when necessary

Prepare new business and renewal quotes using multiple carrier platforms and comparative rating systems

Process endorsements, policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements

Review policies for accuracy and identify coverage gaps, providing appropriate recommendations

Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters and service representatives

Assist producers with cross-selling and account rounding opportunities

Document all client communications and activities in the agency management system

Support client retention initiatives and contribute to the agency's growth objectives

Qualifications/Requirements

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license

Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance within an agency setting

Proven experience working with multiple insurance carriers

Strong understanding of coverage forms and underwriting guidelines

Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied, Vertafore, etc.); experience with AMS360 is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
