
Construction Lending Real Estate Associate

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Lending Real Estate Associate!
Responsibilities: A minimum of three to five years of real estate lending transactions representing banks.
Senior role in the representation of commercial banks making complex commercial loans secured by real property, with a focus on construction loans and term debt.
Knowledge of affordable housing transaction experience is a plus. (i.e., transactions financed directly with a bank construction loan or a bank letter of credit securing bonds issued by New York City HDC or New York State HFA bonds in combination with IRC Section 42 tax credit equity).
Requirements:
Minimum of three to five years of real estate lending experience.
Licensed to practice in New York (New Jersey bar admission a plus).
A member in good standing of the New York/New Jersey State Bar.
J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
Strong drafting skills. Able to work in a lead role in the preparation of loan documentation.
Highly motivated with substantial growth potential.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
Have a professional demeanor with excellent judgment and willingness to take initiative.
Ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a larger team.
