
Overview
Assist the Director of Outside Operations with the following Job Duties:
Supervises all first-tee activities
Recruits, trains, supervises and schedules outside staff and starters.
Cleaning and stocking carts with full divot sand bottles, tees, new pencils, scorecards and clean towels.
Maintains driving range, including collection and cleaning of golf balls and filling of baskets
Recruits, trains, schedules and supervises caddies.
Within allocated budget, orders all necessary training materials and caddie clothing each season.
Coordinates with the Grounds Superintendent about special playing conditions.
Conducts the caddie draw daily to ensure proper rotation.
Registers members, guests, carts and caddies and submits accurate and appropriate charges daily.
Manages cash box.
Maintains restroom facility in the bag room.
Maintains daily and seasonal records.
Maintains accurate caddie performance records.
Coordinates with Golf Professional Staff on tournament activities to assign caddies, set-up carts, transport members and guests clubs before and after play and assign forecaddies.
Arranges prompt and secure storage of members' clubs in the TCC bag room at the conclusion of play.
Prepares monthly summary of golfing activity for the General Manager and Golf Professional.
Oversees cleanliness and necessary repairs to the Bag Room Area.
Attends all necessary club functions as required.
Responsible for the coordination and recordkeeping of all Tag Marshal tags to help keep a smooth flow of play.
Observes and advises the Golf Professional Staff of slow groups using Tag Marshal. Notify the slow groups they are behind if necessary.
Advise members and guests of rules such as pace of play, dress code, and etiquette on the golf course.
Performs other appropriate assignments made by the assistant golf professional.
