Position Overview The
Insurance Account Manager
is responsible for providing front‑line service to existing clients while also contributing to the agency’s growth through outbound sales calls. This position focuses on mastering foundational insurance knowledge, building client relationships, and supporting the team through continuous training and participation in agency‑wide goals. Essential Responsibilities
Answer inbound client inquiries regarding billing, coverage, claims, and policy changes.
Make proactive outbound calls to current and prospective clients to offer additional products.
Assist with quoting and binding auto, home, and other personal lines policies.
Participate in training sessions and help contribute to knowledge sharing with the team.
Develop understanding of products and sales strategies.
Requirements
1+ year of experience in customer service or sales preferred.
Property/Casualty insurance license (must obtain within 60 days of hire).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple client interactions daily.
Strong phone and interpersonal skills.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and goal‑driven.
High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
Compensation $52,000$58,000 per year + bonus (up to $8,000 annually).
