Your Team Responsibilities We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to support MSCI’s Private Assets business, designing intuitive, scalable experiences across a suite of investment analytics, data, and technology solutions used by institutional investors. MSCI Private Assets delivers industry-leading tools that help clients analyze performance, manage risk, monitor exposures, model cashflows, and make informed investment and portfolio allocation decisions across private and public markets.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end product design while operating at a platform and portfolio level, driving consistency, usability, and design quality across Private Assets solutions. You will help shape overall experience strategy, shared interaction patterns, and usability standards, working closely with Product, Engineering, Research and Business stakeholders to translate complex financial, analytical, and technical requirements into clear, cohesive user experiences. The role also plays a key part in shaping AI-enabled product experiences and leveraging AI tools to improve the speed, quality and effectiveness of the product design lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end product design across MSCI Private Assets solutions, from discovery and ideation through delivery, iteration and continuous improvement.

Drive UX consistency and design system standards across products, ensuring scalable interaction patterns and a cohesive user experience.

Design intuitive and transparent user experiences for AI-powered features, including analytics, insights and decision‑support workflows.

Leverage AI‑assisted design tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping and execution across the design lifecycle.

Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Program and Research teams to define requirements, establish priorities and translate complex financial and technical concepts into elegant, user‑centered solutions.

Deliver high‑quality design artifacts including user flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity UI, prototypes, dashboards and data visualisations.

Manage multiple initiatives in parallel, working proactively and decisively to meet fast‑moving timelines.

Champion user‑centered design, accessibility and usability best practices while balancing business, technical and regulatory considerations.

Act as a senior design leader within the Private Assets UX team, bringing creativity, strong judgment and assertiveness to cross‑functional collaboration and decision‑making.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel Qualifications:

6+ years of experience applying user‑centered design methodologies to complex, data‑rich or enterprise software products.

Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end product design and influence outcomes at a platform or portfolio level.

Proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and design systems; experience with Figma Make and other AI-enabled design tools is strongly preferred.

Experience designing or supporting AI‑driven product features and workflows is highly desirable.

Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, visual design excellence, problem‑solving skills and impact on shipped products.

Experience working in an Agile product development environment.

Financial services, investment management, analytics or adjacent domain knowledge is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Creative, proactive and assertive mindset with the ability to influence, move quickly and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
