Role Summary
Capital Equipment Specialist / Areas Sales Manager -SC (Aesthetics Med Device) is responsible for selling, planning, organizing, and implementing all account management activities related to the sale and distribution of Solta’s capital equipment in the assigned territory. The role has high accountability for achieving territory sales quotas and objectives. Travel across the territory may be required, including overnight stays, to cover Anderson, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, and Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
Achieving sales quota results in the assigned territory.
Performing territory penetration coverage and account identification to drive sales and increase the customer base for Solta devices.
Providing training presentations and demonstrations to customers on application and use of the company’s products using effective communication and sales techniques.
Educating customers regarding indications, contraindications, and safety of Solta products and how they fulfill customer needs.
Supporting and facilitating regional training workshops and tradeshows within the territory and area.
Pre-planning sales calls and maintaining efficient time management to maximize customer contact and service.
Developing and maintaining up-to-date account files.
Preparing sales contracts, quotes, pricing, and terms per company guidelines.
Completing administrative responsibilities including quarterly business plans, weekly expense reports, up-to-date account profiles, and Solta’s customer database.
Maintaining knowledge of the industry and competitive products.
Developing and maintaining productive relationships at all levels within the organization.
Maintaining compliance with applicable quality and regulatory guidelines.
Maintaining consistent communication with the Director of Sales and Sales Consultants on territory matters including accurate forecasting.
Representing Solta with integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
Qualifications
Experience selling capital equipment in the Aesthetics or Dermatology space is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with all levels of employees.
Ability to deliver effective presentations to physicians, management, and/or large groups; ability to understand and communicate product attributes using professional selling and closing skills.
Ability to use word processing and database applications and software programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of FDA GMPs; ability to function in a controlled environment regulated by FDA GMPs.
Knowledge of clinical surgical techniques and procedures and medical terminology.
Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing daily priorities.
Travel ability to cover territory including overnight stays; willingness to attend tradeshows and training meetings.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and workload planning skills.
Ability to maintain a suitable remote work station (including inventory).
Ability to transport up to 60 pounds of equipment within the territory.
