Job Summary Vulcan Industries is looking for a Sales Manager to join its collaborative sales & marketing team. A successful Sales Manager will manage accounts and create and build new customer relationships that lead to strategic partnerships between Vulcan Industries and customers that are new to VI. The successful Sales Manager will seek new customers in VI’s existing market segments as well as seek to maintain and grow customer relationships with existing customers. The role will include account management, lead generation and prospecting, leading/guiding the design and development process with the functional teams (Design, Engineering, Estimating, and Project Management), managing the sales cycle to completion, and ensuring that the production and logistic process delivers to the customer the right thing at the right time. This position is located in the Northeast United States and will require frequent travel to that area.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or another related.
Ability to speak before an audience with poise and confidence
Ability to work well within an office environment and with shop personnel, as well as remotely
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Experience developing Power Point presentations
At least 4 years’ experience in business development, preferably for the display industry
Preferred Knowledge And Skills
Ability to open and close the door with new retailers and consumer goods companies.
Experience with Salesforce/CRM, preferred but not required.
Preferred knowledge/relationship with retailers and CPG companies that purchase merchandising solutions that VI is capable of manufacturing/sourcing.
