In this role, you will:* Provide exceptional customer engagement and support to drive partnership performance.* Deliver an outstanding customer experience through clear communication and proactive relationship building.* Lead strategic engagement across the customer’s organization, including budgeting, asset management, capital planning, procurement, and KPI alignment.* Collaborate across business lines to ensure transparency around inputs, outputs, challenges, and risks.* Respond efficiently to concerns and support problem resolution.* Contribute to broader Enterprise Services Operations initiatives as needed.**Direct leadership experience within an Academic Medical Center environment**, such as serving as a manager or director over a clinical or hospital department or service line (e.g., Radiology, Laboratory Services, Cardiovascular, Oncology, Emergency Medicine), or supporting AMC-level hospital operations, strategy, or business development.
• A deep understanding of the **complex operational, regulatory, research, and educational missions unique to AMCs**, and how they influence clinical workflows, asset utilization, staffing models, and capital planning.
• Demonstrated ability to assess clinical asset management needs and develop **short- and long-term operational and capital plans**—including technical/clinical performance management, skill development, operational execution excellence, and compliance oversight.
• Strong working knowledge of **health system service line operations**, particularly within environments that manage multi-site academic practices and large-scale procedural departments.
• A results‑driven mindset, with the ability to balance customer impact, clinical quality, and business objectives.
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to prioritize and lead multiple initiatives in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives, clinical leaders, and frontline teams.**Required qualifications for success in this role:**• **BS/BA in a medical field, engineering/technology, healthcare/business administration, or related healthcare discipline.**
• **Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within an Academic Medical Center**, whether through direct clinical department management or AMC hospital operations/business development.
• Experience in **clinical administration or healthcare institution leadership**.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.**Preferred qualifications:**• Polished, professional presence and strong executive communication skills.
• Strong analytical and business acumen, including familiarity with **P&L management, capital & operational planning, and resource stewardship**.
• Ability to assess business situations using a **general manager perspective**, with strengths in structured problem solving and critical thinking.
• Proven success implementing innovative solutions for clinical or operational challenges, with the ability to navigate organizational complexity typical of AMCs.
• Experience evaluating client commercial capabilities and identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, or process improvement.
• Adaptability to changing client needs, cost initiatives, policy shifts, and evolving healthcare landscapes.
• A naturally curious, continuous‑learning mindset.
