Job Description

The Real Estate Coordinator supports the Development and Real Estate teams in executing the company’s real estate growth strategy, including new bakery expansion and existing development commitments. This role is ideal for a professional with foundational experience in commercial real estate, retail, or franchising who is looking to grow their skills in site selection, market analysis, and deal support. The coordinator partners with internal teams—including Development, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external vendors such as brokers, attorneys, and data providers. The role focuses on market research, analytical support, documentation, and coordination to help inform real estate decisions and support the execution of approved sites. Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Site Analysis

Conduct market research and site analysis, including demographic reviews, trade-area mapping, and real estate availability. Prepare maps, aerials, demographic summaries, and presentations using Sitewise, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools. Maintain accurate and up-to-date site and market data within internal systems and reporting platforms. Maintain interactive pipeline map and perform portfolio analysis across institutional landlord groups to identify actionable opportunities Development & Deal Support

Track and report on development pipeline activity and site status using FranConnect. Assist with the preparation of Site Approval Packages and manage documentation for approved locations. Support the identification and evaluation of potential opportunities by compiling research and analytics. Provide coordination and follow-up support for active deals and site selection initiatives. Prepare interactive market level maps for multi-unit franchise groups Financial & Performance Support

Assist with financial analysis, including rent-to-sales ratios, basic pro formas, AUV comparisons, and sales projections. Assist the Finance team to review bakery-level performance targets and assumptions. Support portfolio review activities, including lease renewals, renegotiations, and performance monitoring. Assist real estate managers with pipeline reporting, analysis and risk assessments Cross-Functional & Franchisee Support

Coordinate with Construction, Operations, Marketing, and other internal teams to support smooth transitions from site approval through opening. Support franchise partners through the site selection and approval process, including deal follow up and documentation requests. Assist with LOI and lease administration, ensuring documentation (LOIs, leases, waivers, guaranties) is complete and organized. Assist with KML file conversion to support IT Attend weekly Development team meetings and follow up on requested action items Qualifications & Skills

Foundational experience in commercial real estate, retail, restaurant development, or franchising Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working cross-functionally and with external partners Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling proprietary and sensitive data Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant experience 1–3 years of experience in real estate, development, finance, franchising, or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience with real estate and reporting tools such as Sitewise, FranConnect, CoStar, Tableau, or similar platforms is preferred Prior exposure to financial modeling, market analytics, or site selection
