
PT/Seasonal Boys Lacrosse Coach

Location: Newton Park - 707 Fairview Ave., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137
Pay Rate: $15.00+/hr. DOQ
JOB SUMMARY Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Athletics, Lacrosse Coaches are responsible for assisting Parent Volunteer Coaches with instruction and training of participants. Duties include but are not limited to developing and facilitating team activities and drills, as well as field/equipment set‑up and tear‑down. The Lacrosse Program participates in the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA) during the spring season, with off‑season training opportunities available throughout the year. This is an at‑will position.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
The ideal candidate will have a passion for lacrosse, be self‑motivated and have an outgoing energized personality.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with participants and their parents, coaches, staff, and the public are essential.
First Aid/CPR/AED certified highly desired (GEPD will provide this training when needed).
Previous playing and/or coaching experience is required.
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
