Desk Sales Manager

who brings energy, integrity, and leadership to the floor every single day. This role isn’t just about penciling deals. It’s about developing people, driving results, and building a culture that wins the right way.

A proven closer with strong desking experience in the automotive industry

Someone who trains, coaches, and TOs deals with consistency

Process driven and performance focused, with a track record of building strong sales teams

Local to the region or willing to relocate near a Brinson Auto Group location

A long‑term thinker with ambition to grow into a GM or executive level role

A hardworking, hands‑on leader who leads by example and sets the tone for the team

Job Summary: The Desk Sales Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the sales team, maximizing deal potential, and ensuring a consistent, customer‑focused process is followed from greeting to close.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Desk deals and support salespeople through every stage of the transaction

Train and coach the sales team daily on product knowledge, selling techniques, and process

TO deals and assist in closing with consistency and integrity

Track sales metrics and maintain gross profit goals

Build rapport with customers and maintain strong CSI standards

Lead daily sales meetings and maintain accountability across the floor

Partner with the General Manager and F&I to streamline deal flow

Monitor inventory and work with management to identify opportunities

Maintain a high level of professionalism and team morale

Promote and enforce dealership processes and compliance standards

Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or GED

Previous experience in a dealership sales management or desk manager role required

Strong understanding of CRM tools, DMS platforms, and desking software

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Proven track record of performance and closing ability

Professional appearance and work ethic

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Working Conditions:

This position works primarily indoors with some outdoor activity

Must be available to work a full‑time schedule, including evenings and weekends as required
