
We are seeking a motivated and personable
Leasing Agent
to join a multi-family housing community in Madison, WI. This is a
temp-to-hire opportunity
with strong potential for long-term placement.
While the property operates under Section 42 (LIHTC) guidelines,
prior affordable housing experience is not required . We’re looking for someone with strong customer service skills, leasing experience (or related sales experience), and the ability to create a positive first impression for prospective residents.
Key Responsibilities Leasing & Sales
Conduct property tours and showcase available units
Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptly
Process rental applications and assist with move-ins and renewals
Maintain strong occupancy rates through proactive outreach
Resident Relations
Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for residents and prospects
Provide excellent customer service and timely communication
Assist with resident events and community engagement
Administrative Support
Maintain accurate leasing records and documentation
Assist with marketing efforts and online listings
Support the Property Manager with daily operational tasks
Qualifications
1+ year of leasing, customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable learning compliance processes and property management software
Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or similar software is a plus
