Senior Key Account Executive – Accessories & Fashion
On-site | New York City | Full-Time
Step into a high-impact sales role with a fast-growing, trend-forward player in the fashion accessories space. This is your opportunity to own relationships with major retailers, shape assortments seen on shelves and online nationwide, and directly influence revenue growth across handbags, accessories, and related categories.
We are looking for a polished, driven Senior Key Account Executive to join our Majors, Specialty, and Private Label sales team. You’ll be the strategic partner to top department stores, chains, e-commerce platforms, and specialty retailers— turning market insight into smart assortments and repeat business.
Who You Are You are an experienced wholesale sales professional who understands how to build and grow accounts in the apparel, handbag, footwear, or accessories world. You know the buyers, you understand the calendar, and you thrive in fast-paced market cycles. You’re as comfortable in a showroom presenting a line as you are in Excel building forecasts and analyzing performance.
Key Responsibilities
Own and grow sales for key majors, specialty, and private-label accounts, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
Develop and execute annual sales plans that align with broader business goals and category strategies.
Create and deliver monthly sales reports, forecasts, and account recaps that clearly outline risks, opportunities, and next steps.
Identify top styles and key drivers; partner with production to ensure inventory levels support growth and sell-through.
Stay ahead of market trends, competitive actions, and shifts in consumer demand to inform assortment and pricing strategies.
Monitor sales performance, inventory, and profitability metrics; take action to course-correct underperforming areas.
Collaborate closely with design and production teams to tailor assortments and programs that meet buyer expectations and retailer needs.
Represent the brand during Market Weeks in New York and at seasonal trade shows in New York and Las Vegas.
Maintain accurate order backlogs, shipping information, and account documentation to ensure flawless execution.
Qualifications & Experience
3–5 years of strategic wholesale sales experience in apparel, handbags, footwear, or accessories.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Established relationships with key domestic and/or international retailers (department stores, chains, e-commerce, specialty).
Strong understanding of accessories merchandising, sales, marketing, and financial planning.
Experience leading and developing a team or directly managing teammates in a sales environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data and reporting tools.
Ability to interpret sales data and turn insights into clear strategies and action plans.
Strong grasp of fashion and accessories market trends, retail calendars, and the competitive landscape.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including line presentations and buyer meeting facilitation.
Proven relationship builder, adept at partnering with both internal teams and external buyers/partners.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and market cycles simultaneously.
Creative, solutions-focused thinker who can navigate challenges and negotiate win–win outcomes.
Willingness and ability to travel for trade shows, sales meetings, and key account visits.
Full‑time, on‑site position at the corporate office in New York City (10001).
Travel required for domestic market appointments and trade shows (including New York and Las Vegas).
If you’re ready to leverage your retail relationships, shape compelling assortments, and play a visible role in scaling a modern accessories brand, this Senior Key Account Executive role offers a platform to make your impact felt immediately.
