
Job Description
Customer Engagement Representative is responsible for qualifying warm leads through Marketing and booking appointments for outside sales representatives. This hybrid position requires 4 days per week on-site in Madison and excellent time‑management, customer‑service, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have strong phone communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifies inbound marketing leads and schedules sales appointments.
Utilizes the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system following standard work procedures.
Maintains open communication with the field sales team to ensure a seamless transition of leads from Marketing to Sales.
Meets individual daily, monthly, and quarterly sales appointment targets.
Maintains high product knowledge to support a high conversion rate from lead to appointment by providing consultations over the phone.
Collaborates effectively with multiple departments such as Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, and Regulatory Affairs to support customer satisfaction.
Attends, understands, and actively participates in Daily Management meetings to stay abreast of KPIs and top priorities including appointment metrics and conversion rates.
Participates in continuous improvement activities under the Envista Business System (EBS) to contribute to a high‑performing team while meeting customer satisfaction.
Attends required department trainings on and off‑site when needed.
Follows company policies and procedures, including quality and safety.
Travels up to 10% domestically.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant customer service or related experience.
Experience with CRM preferred; Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Self‑driven with the ability to quickly establish integrity and trust with customers.
Strong business acumen and fundamentals of business management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel.
Proven success in quickly learning computer systems.
Excellent data entry accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents in English.
Proven success in prioritizing assigned work.
Ability to gather, understand, and interpret information.
Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Ability to build and maintain rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.

Target Market Salary Range Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
