The

Portfolio Manager II

is responsible for credit and risk administration of an assigned portfolio of accounts in our Corporate Banking Team.

Primary responsibilities include:

Underwriting credit opportunities to both new and existing clients, and ongoing portfolio management of same

Ideal candidate would have experience in the underwiring of transactions as a lead-left agent

Quality analysis and risk identification

Ability to proactively recommend structures and implement action plans

Strong technical capabilities to maintain accurate risk ratings

Maintenance of financial reporting and covenant compliance tracking database

Ability to independently prepare and present new transactions for approval and existing portfolio transactions at periodic portfolio review meetings

Versed in legal documentation and ability to negotiate and close loans

Regular client interaction to support and complement Relationship Manager both for new credit and ongoing servicing and problem resolution

This is a senior position and as such individual must have demonstrated ability to manage complex credits and situations, willingness to support less experienced Portfolio Managers and Analysts, and partake in special projects as needed

Qualifications Required Skills/Experience:

10+ years relevant Corporate Banking experience required

Competency in financial analysis and credit structuring

Understanding and applying credit policy, and credit monitoring and risk administration practices

Expected to have advanced level of credit experience, including legal documentation, and negotiating credit structures both internally and externally

Excellent verbal, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required

Ability to multi-task and function under pressure

Proficient in PC applications, including excel based projection modeling

Education, Certification, and/or Other Professional Credentials

Bachelor’s Degree required

Hours & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
