In this fast‑paced role as a Farm & Orchard Team Member, you will work closely with others to take part in the planting, sowing and caring of crops while working hands‑on in the fields. You will gain unique skills and experiences while learning about a new and exciting area of our business, growing your own passion and knowledge of products and agriculture along the way!
What Will I do?
Perform a variety of hands‑on, general farm tasks under minimal supervision; plant, cultivate and harvest crops, including watering, composting, weeding, and applying organic sprays; drive/operate farm machinery when necessary; grade and package crops for marketing and selling to stores
Provide incredible service by bringing enthusiasm to every task
Work effectively in a team‑based environment, assist as necessary to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
Complete tasks efficiently without sacrificing quality, strictly adhering to food and human safety guidelines and procedures
Work outside in various weather conditions
Required Qualifications:
Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products and services
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well both in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal direction
Demonstrated time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Agricultural experience or related coursework
Experience working with agricultural equipment/tools

Agricultural experience or related coursework; Store Operations Produce department experience; Experience working with agricultural equipment/tools; Work Environment Work includes prolonged standing and walking with frequent reach, lifting, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, pushing, pulling, bending crouching and kneeling. The average weight range of items lifted is 10-20 pounds with a maximum weight lift of greater than 50 pounds occasionally. May receive assistance with heavy items, if available. The work environment involves seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather, frequently to constantly. Work involves driving and use of various vehicles and powered and non‑powered equipment. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).
