Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $20-30 Hourly Start Date: Feb 16, 2026 We're seeking a creative and organized Social Media Coordinator to take the lead on executing and managing organic social media content across platforms. This part-time freelance role supports the ongoing growth of our brand's digital voice, allowing the lead strategist to focus on broader brand and design initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who can translate complex, technical topics into engaging, relatable social content-especially for LinkedIn. Content Creation & Execution: Review editorial calendars, identify content needs, and write engaging, high-quality copy and captions. Platform Management: Schedule and publish approved content via Hootsuite, primarily for LinkedIn, with occasional support for Instagram and Facebook. Asset Coordination: Select and organize imagery; collaborate with design and brand teams to ensure visual and written alignment. Brand Voice Stewardship: Maintain a consistent, personable, and approachable tone across all social content. Simplify Complex Topics: Translate technical or industry-specific information into clear, engaging posts for a broad professional audience. Qualifications & Experience
B2B Social Media Expertise: Prior experience managing social channels for B2B brands (consulting, agency, or professional services backgrounds preferred). Strong Copywriting Skills: Excellent short-form writing ability with a focus on clarity, engagement, and brand alignment. Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable working under direction while partnering closely with designers and brand leads. Platform & Tool Knowledge: Proficiency in Hootsuite and a solid understanding of LinkedIn's organic content algorithms and best practices. Design Awareness: While design skills aren't required, an eye for visuals and understanding of brand consistency is a plus. Bonus Experience: Familiarity with nonprofit, government, or healthcare communications-where simplifying complex topics is essential-is highly valued.
