Introduction
We are looking for a skilled and innovative Oracle Cloud Consultant with a strong background in the retail sector. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle Cloud solutions designed to meet the dynamic challenges of modern retail, such as supply chain optimization and enhanced customer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud modules, including Oracle Retail Cloud, ERP, SCM, and CX, and a deep understanding of how cloud technology can transform retail operations, increase agility, and foster innovation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Growth Enablement
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify Oracle-based solutions that support retail growth strategies, including e-commerce expansion and entry into global markets.
Leverage Oracle Cloud to uncover new revenue streams, enhance operational efficiency, and empower real-time decision-making.
Innovation & Offerings Development Create innovative offerings and accelerators harnessing Oracle Cloud capabilities to address critical retail challenges like real-time inventory management and demand forecasting.
Develop reusable assets, templates, and industry accelerators to facilitate effective market strategies.
Industry & Client Engagement Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with retail clients to highlight the advantages of Oracle Cloud solutions.
Translate business needs into scalable and effective Oracle Cloud implementations.
Stay updated on Oracle Cloud product advancements and features, advising clients on optimal implementation to align with their growth strategies.
Ensure best practices are maintained throughout the design, development, and implementation process.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with sales, product teams, and delivery partners to develop proposals and strategic roadmaps for solutions.
Support pre-sales initiatives by providing expert insights on Oracle Cloud during RFPs, demos, and discussions with clients.
This role is flexible and can be performed remotely from anywhere in the U.S. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 15+ years of experience in implementing Oracle Cloud solutions, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector.
5+ years of focused experience with Oracle Cloud solutions in the retail industry.
Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Retail Cloud Services, ERP Cloud, SCM Cloud, or CX Cloud.
Strong grasp of various retail business models, including brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, and omnichannel.
Proven ability to turn business objectives into technical solutions utilizing Oracle Cloud.
Experience leading cross-functional teams through entire project lifecycles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Oracle Cloud Certifications in Retail, SCM, ERP, or CX.
Familiarity with agile and iterative implementation methodologies.
