The UMe catalog roster includes many of the most iconic and legendary artists of all time, including The Beatles, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Eminem, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Nirvana, and Rihanna.UMe is seeking a passionate music enthusiast to join our Catalog Creative team as an in-house Production Designer/Graphic Designer with strong print production experience and an eye for music design to support our Creative team. You’ll work hands-on across print and digital projects. This role suits someone comfortable juggling multiple, high-volume projects while keeping attention to detail and quality.This role is based in Santa Monica, CA.**How you’ll CREATE:**Support the Catalog Art Department via a variety of tasks, functions and workflows, including but not limited to:* Print Design knowledge and experience with packaging design is a must.* Support the Creative Services Senior Director by preparing and delivering assets to designers, vendors and internal departments.* Provide print production support, including pre-flight checks to ensure accuracy, quality and print-readiness* Assist with design proofing and quality control across all deliverables* Ensure brand consistency and compliance with UMG’s and Retail design guidelines across all creative deliverables* Design a range of print and digital marketing assets including ads, package rendering, social assets, etc.* Design package artwork for LP, CD, box set and digital releases.

Must be comfortable with complex templates, and have the ability to repurpose artwork across multiple formats while remaining on brand* Research, scan, retouch photos and original packaging.* Convert existing physical art assets into digital assets when needed.* Maintain and organize the company’s graphics library ensuring assets are current* Oversee distribution of approved creative assets internally to respective departments.* Provide overall departmental support as needed.* Manage incoming design requests, timelines, and ensure deadlines are met**Bring your VIBE:*** Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design* 5+ years experience in music package design* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Bridge). 3D skills are a plus.* Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure & deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.* Excellent communication and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail* Familiarity with workflow and cloud tools such as Monday.com, SharePoint, Teams, Box, etc. a plus.* Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and to identify potential issues and successfully problem solve with business deliverables in mind* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and high aptitude for learning new software programs* General knowledge of catalog music industry and a passion for music and emerging media* Send your design portfolio for review**Perks Playlist:**Join an entrepreneurial, global organization where authenticity, boldness, creativity, connection, drive, and insight aren’t just values—they’re how we work every day.
