
Landman – Eagle Ford (Houston, TX – On-Site)

Purple Land Management (PLM) is seeking an experienced Landman for an in‑house role supporting a client's operations in the Eagle Ford play. This position requires strong leasing and land administration experience, deep familiarity with the South Texas mineral environment, and the ability to work in‑office in Houston, Texas. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with the client, in‑office, and supporting ongoing field development activity.
Responsibilities
Manage leasing and land administration activities within the Eagle Ford play
Negotiate and secure oil and gas leases, amendments, extensions, and related agreements
Support regulatory compliance and filings related to South Texas operations
Review and interpret mineral ownership, lease terms, and contractual obligations
Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding drilling schedules, title status, and development planning
Maintain organized, accurate land records and internal tracking systems
Provide timely updates and reporting to internal leadership
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of Landman experience
Significant, hands‑on experience in the Eagle Ford play
Strong understanding of South Texas mineral and regulatory environments
Prior experience working in‑house or directly for an operator preferred
Ability to work full‑time in‑office in Houston, TX
Strong communication skills and ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment
