Job Description: We are seeking a professional Account Manager to join our team. The role of this team member is to serve Agency clients by protecting the financial livelihood of personal clients through property & casualty insurance. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a book of business and assisting with the production of new client acquisitions. You will create and maintain positive relationships, understand clients' needs, and connect them with appropriate products and services. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong sales and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Handle the renewal of, and changes to, existing personal insurance policies by examining current program and updating it to make sure that the customer is adequately protected.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients
Participate in continuing education and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends
Timely response to client needs for certificates of insurance, handling of claims, quoting opportunities, etc.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in relevant field
Valid state insurance licensing (can be obtained prior to starting)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with excellent time management skills
Pursuit of comprehensive knowledge of insurance industry products and offerings
Strong computer and technology skills, including proper typing
