Position Overview
As part of the talented marketing team, Brunswick is seeking a Regional Marketing Activation Specialist for our Corporate Northeast Clubs (Connecticut, Long Island, and Rhode Island).
The role involves collaborating with the regional brand leadership team to implement marketing strategies that accelerate growth for Freedom Boat Club in the region.
You will lead the activation of promotions, events, and marketing initiatives across clubs, ensuring consistent execution and brand alignment.
This position requires a go‑getter mindset comfortable engaging with customers onsite at weekend and evening events while also working remotely on digital activations.
Essential Functions
Promotion Activation & Content Creation: Develop, launch, present, and manage monthly regional promotions across email, text, and miscellaneous campaigns.
Local Marketing & Sales Support: Act as the SME for local marketing activations, guiding the sales team and creating/distributing sales promotion materials including POS collateral.
Event Planning, Execution & Coordination: Lead planning, coordination, and execution of local events (e.g., boat shows, sales events, member appreciation events).
Attendance at most events is required.
Event Tracking & Performance: Monitor and evaluate event performance, maintain a calendar of upcoming opportunities, and identify activation needs. Provide insights and recommendations based on data.
Stakeholder & Brand Communications: Prepare and present activation-related communications to stakeholders and leadership. Develop playbooks, lead regional team meetings, and support strategic planning.
Build a strong partnership with the regional General Manager and Marketing Manager.
Social Media Management: Develop content for the three regional social media pages with guidance from the Social Media and Content Manager.
Email Campaigns: Support creation and distribution of club and member communications, event invites, promotions, and newsletters.
Marketing Collateral & Compliance: Assist in developing digital and print marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Invoice Management: Review, approve, and track marketing invoices within the region, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budget.
Ad‑hoc Marketing Support: Provide support for additional marketing initiatives and projects as needed, and propose innovative ideas to explore new opportunities for business growth.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant experience.
2–4 years of relevant marketing experience.
Strong writing, storytelling, and editing capabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer‑focused mindset.
Ability to work cross‑functionally.
Experience coordinating events and multiple stakeholders.
Schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends throughout the year, especially during peak season.
Hands‑on attitude and experience in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline‑driven environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, handle last‑minute requests, and deliver quick turnaround with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Growth mindset with a desire to grow within the organization.
Experience bringing products to market for industry‑leading brands or portfolio brands.
Proven experience planning and executing events from concept to completion, including logistics, vendor coordination, and onsite management.
Experience in both agency and corporate environments is a plus.
Experience working in a matrix environment is a plus.
Working Conditions
Remote position requiring use of computer, phone, and other electronic applications.
Occasional outdoor work and varied weather conditions during events.
Work near and on the water during events.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Reliable transportation required for commuting to events and transporting supplies.
Compensation & Benefits The anticipated pay range is $58,700.00 – $92,700.00 annually, with actual base pay varying based on qualifications and business needs.
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, 401(k) (up to 4% match), Health Savings Account with company contribution, well‑being program, product purchase discounts, and more.
