Summary of the position
BRAVE Church is seeking a spiritually mature, gospel-driven leader to serve as
Director of Student Ministry
at our Westminster Campus. This role is ideal for a director with a passion for discipling middle and high school students, equipping ministry teams, and advancing a vibrant culture of biblical truth and spiritual growth.
Rooted in the biblical qualifications (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1), the ideal candidate embodies humility, integrity, and servant leadership. He is a seasoned ministry professional who thrives in a fast-paced church environment, demonstrating strength in preaching, mentoring, administration, and team development. With a heart for reaching the next generation, he will lead with vision, steward relationships, and shepherd students toward lifelong faith.
Experience and Knowledge Required
Student Ministry Leadership
— Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in middle and high school ministry with a heart for discipleship and gospel advancement.
Theological & Ministry Training
— Formal theological education preferred, coupled with sound biblical knowledge and spiritual maturity.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
— Proven ability to lead, teach, and counsel with clarity, compassion, and confidence—both written and verbal.
Administrative & Technical Competence
— Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to new tools.
Professionalism & Flexibility
— Maintains confidentiality, demonstrates initiative, and willing to serve evenings/weekends with excellence and integrity.

Cast Vision & Lead Strategic Initiatives
— Design and execute yearly ministry plans, retreats, outreach events, and discipleship pathways that align with BRAVE’s gospel-centered mission.
Preach and Teach with Conviction
— Proclaim God’s Word boldly and unapologetically in student gatherings, fostering biblical literacy, spiritual formation, and missional living.
Model and Multiply a Prayerful Life
— Lead by example in personal prayer and cultivate a ministry culture dependent on prayer for guidance, power, and spiritual renewal.
