
Commercial Concrete Superintendent

Innovative Concrete, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Concrete Superintendent to lead our team in delivering high-quality concrete projects. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for the construction site, overseeing the intricate details of concrete operations and ensuring that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Your leadership will be vital in coordinating between various stakeholders—including project managers, clients, and subcontractors—to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for monitoring site progress, managing labor resources, and implementing effective methods to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Direct and coordinate concrete crews and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
Develop and manage project schedules, allocating resources efficiently to minimize delays.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to report on project status, address concerns, and foster positive relationships.
Conduct regular inspections to monitor site conditions, safety compliance, and work quality.
Implement and enforce safety regulations to cultivate a secure work environment for all team members.
Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or budgets in a timely manner.
Assist in procurement processes for materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including logs, quality checks, and safety records.
Provide mentorship and training opportunities to team members to support their growth and development.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with a proven track record in a supervisory or superintendent capacity.
In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques and industry best practices.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions on construction sites.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site access.
Successful completion of a drug screening and background check required.
