Position Overview Greenbrier Golf and Country Club is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed Level 1 of the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program and demonstrate a strong desire to advance their career in the golf industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic team.

Experience Required

Completion of Level 1 of the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program (preferred not required).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Willingness and ambition to learn, grow, and advance within the golf industry.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Previous experience in a golf or customer service environment is preferred but not required.

Proficiency with golf shop point-of-sale systems and tournament software is a plus.

Commitment to providing outstanding service to members and guests.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist in the daily operations of the golf shop, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.

Support the Head Golf Professional in organizing and executing tournaments, leagues, and member events.

Provide golf instruction and clinics to members and guests of all skill levels.

Manage tee times, monitor pace of play, and ensure an exceptional on-course experience.

Foster positive relationships with members, guests, and fellow staff.

Assist with junior golf programs and other player development initiatives.

Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the club's standards of service and hospitality.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional.
