Overview Lake Toxaway is a private, gated mountain community located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes away from Cashiers, Highlands, and Brevard, North Carolina.

The Lake Toxaway community has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s, when prominent families retreated to the area to enjoy the area's unspoiled beauty and the company of friends and family.

Over 100 years later, the Lake Toxaway Country Club takes great pride in preserving the community's cherished traditions. The club goes above and beyond to treat its members and guests like family, providing a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Today, during its eight-month season, the club is home to 475 families.

In addition to golf, the club offers a wide variety of activities, including tennis, pickleball, croquet, rock climbing, ropes courses, and much more.

One of the club's unique advantages is its prime location. Nestled in North Carolina's most beautiful and unspoiled mountains, the club is conveniently located just a short drive from major metropolitan areas, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Asheville, and Columbia, South Carolina. This makes Lake Toxaway a highly sought-after weekend and summer retreat for families.
