About the Role

The Company is seeking an EVP for Energy Markets and Portfolio Management to lead the organization's power market exposure, energy acquisition costs, and margin protection. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing wholesale electricity sourcing strategies, developing demand projections, and managing portfolio positions to support fixed-price retail offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of organized power markets, complex energy contract structures, and renewable energy credit trading. The EVP will also be tasked with coordinating the integration of company-owned renewable assets and emerging storage technologies, as well as delivering precise financial projections and risk-weighted outcomes.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in wholesale electricity markets, with a proven track record in hedging residential and commercial demand and incorporating renewable supply into risk structures. The role demands strong leadership capabilities, the ability to influence across departments, and a background in building and scaling operational processes. The EVP will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Sales, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and Development, and will be expected to provide strategic guidance on market developments to executive leadership. A hands-on approach to managing fixed-rate retail power portfolios and a background in enterprise energy risk strategy are essential. An MBA or advanced graduate degree is preferred.
