About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Sales to lead its commercial expansion, with a focus on mid-market financial institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing a new sales strategy tailored to this segment, as well as building and leading a sales team. This role requires a sales leader with a strong background in B2B revenue, particularly in the financial technology sector, and a deep understanding of selling SaaS data or data-management platforms to mid-market financial services firms. The Head of Sales will be expected to have a proven track record in fast-moving deal environments, be well-connected in relevant financial ecosystems, and have experience in creating go-to-market strategies and processes.
Key responsibilities for the Head of Sales include establishing a new sales function, from prospect identification to conversion, and ensuring the team is aligned with product, marketing, and customer-facing partners. The ideal candidate will have a builder mindset, be comfortable with a high level of autonomy, and be adept at adapting the sales motion based on real-world feedback. Success in this role will be measured by the development of a robust go-to-market engine, a cohesive sales team, and early revenue traction that demonstrates product-market fit within the targeted financial customer profiles. The Head of Sales will also be instrumental in creating a scalable foundation for future expansion into new accounts, regions, or financial subsectors.
