About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Hospital Quality Risk Management and Infection Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives in quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and infection prevention. This role involves driving organizational excellence by implementing programs that enhance patient care and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. The Executive Director will also be tasked with collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster innovation, providing leadership and mentorship to staff, and analyzing performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include directing quality improvement programs, conducting root cause analyses, supervising infection control initiatives, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), a minimum of 5 years' experience in quality, patient safety, or infection prevention, and 3 years' of acute clinical care experience. Certification in healthcare quality and patient safety is preferred, along with proficiency in statistical process control and data analytics. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and achieve strategic goals effectively. The role also involves developing and implementing educational initiatives, managing databases for reporting, and advocating for superior patient care standards.
